"Appetite" is a short story I wrote about a girl named Fe who escapes being eaten by a shapeshifting monster name Kanin by cooking dinner for him instead. Fe wagers that if Kanin doesn't enjoy her food, then he can eat her. Kanin does enjoy the food and continues returning to her home for more!

The story takes place in pre-colonial Philippines and features tropical foliage and traditional architecture and artifacts. This is a project I am creating for the Women in Animation 2D Portfolio Building mentorship circle and is still in progress.
